It started in Warsaw, with student networks and a culture collective. In 2019 I founded World Cleanup Day Poland and grew it to more than 40 cities, as part of a global movement active in 190+ countries.
Mauritius is where that record continues.

Mauritius has a long history of cleanups. Clean (Moris) set out to do something no one had done before: build an ecosystem across the island, united by one national day.
A celebration of the island, measured in the first-ever CO₂-equivalent impact report from waste collected on World Cleanup Day, so every partner can see what we achieved together.
Clean (Moris) Ltd is a non-profit company limited by guarantee and the organiser of Mauritius Cleanup Day. I am its founder and director.
